Christopher Mutty, Executive Director

Christopher Mutty is the Executive Director of the Brookline Chamber of Commerce. He is a 10-year resident of Brookline, a former small business owner in town, and a nonprofit founder. He is committed to the success of our community as a thriving place to live, work, and do business.

Chris knows the Brookline business community well after owning his own small businesses (Green Line Growers and Brookline Grown) in the heart of Coolidge Corner. After hanging up his green thumb, Chris transitioned to being a stay-at-home parent and founder of a local 501(c)(3) (Hub Rugby). Chris also brings a depth of relationships with the town to this role as a founder and as an elected Town Meeting Member.

"Brookline has become our adopted home and I'm thrilled to take on the responsibility of representing its business community." Chris said, "I'm very excited to lead the Chamber's mission of growing Brookline's business districts and advocating on behalf of all members."

Chris earned his BA in Economics from Middlebury College where he won 2 national championships as a member and later captain of the rugby club.

Chris enjoys spending time on the Cape, at camp in Vermont, or on the beach in Maine. On weekends he is busy watching his sons play soccer and coaching K-8 rugby. He is passionate about all Boston sports teams.

Madison Long, Member Services Associate

Madison Long is the Member Services Associate for the Brookline Chamber of Commerce. She is a young professional with aspirations to become an attorney, and is a member of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association (MBLA) Leadership Team. She loves the walkability of Brookline and the vibrancy of its business community.

Madison is eager to learn about and engage with the Brookline business community. She is particularly interested in receiving exposure to the legal and financial aspects of locally owned businesses.

In her most recent role, Madison interned with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s (DESE) Legal Office where she assisted general counsel attorneys with educator licensure investigations and procurement contracts. She previously served as a judicial extern for the Honorable John A. Houston of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. In that role, she observed first-hand how the legal system plays a large role in life outcomes. That experience ignited her desire to study law and policy, particularly education policy. Madison also interned at Nelson Mullins as an operations intern assisting their litigation team on various matters.

Madison is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina and is a 2023 graduate of  North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Additionally, she completed the esteemed Duke PreLaw Fellowship Program in 2022.

On the weekends, Madison enjoys kayaking on the Charles, painting, and playing tennis.
