Christopher Mutty, Executive Director

Christopher Mutty is the Executive Director of the Brookline Chamber of Commerce. He is a 10-year resident of Brookline, a former small business owner in town, and a nonprofit founder. He is committed to the success of our community as a thriving place to live, work, and do business.

Chris knows the Brookline business community well after owning his own small businesses (Green Line Growers and Brookline Grown) in the heart of Coolidge Corner. After hanging up his green thumb, Chris transitioned to being a stay-at-home parent and founder of a local 501(c)(3) (Hub Rugby). Chris also brings a depth of relationships with the town to this role as a founder and as an elected Town Meeting Member.

"Brookline has become our adopted home and I'm thrilled to take on the responsibility of representing its business community." Chris said, "I'm very excited to lead the Chamber's mission of growing Brookline's business districts and advocating on behalf of all members."

Chris earned his BA in Economics from Middlebury College where he won 2 national championships as a member and later captain of the rugby club.

Chris enjoys spending time on the Cape, at camp in Vermont, or on the beach in Maine. On weekends he is busy watching his sons play soccer and coaching K-8 rugby. He is passionate about all Boston sports teams.
