Before she helped open two restaurants, Jen Ziskin worked in a public school and in a winery. Now, she and her husband Josh operate two establishments—La Morra, located off Route 9; and Heritage of Sherborn, which is situated on a 2.6 acre property. To support these businesses, you can purchase a gift card to be redeemed after the pandemic is over. Both locations are also offering takeout, and dropoff is completely contact-free. Additionally, Jen is running cocktail parties, social events, and trivia nights every week. Restaurant guests are welcome to attend! La Morra is only a block away from the frame shop that Josh’s dad used to own, and Jen taught in the Brookline Public School system for seven years prior to entering the restaurant business. The Ziskins have close ties to the Brookline community, and they have consistently made donations to auctions and community events. Additionally, their restaurants are a popular location for weddings and celebrations of all kinds. Jen hopes that her customers are able to experience authentic Italian cuisine and a welcoming environment to celebrate milestones.
